You have to remember that many of these earnings screenshots were based on claps. Views were totally irrelevant (and they still are under the new system). The MPP pays for member reading time, so if paying members aren’t reading your content, your earnings to views ratio will be quite low.
Also, keep in mind, people tend to post disproportionately good results. Meaning if anything, these writers are probably in the top 10% as far as attracting paying members, and either getting them to clap or read their article a lot.
Some of these articles also had heavy external promotion/maximized their article SEO, which over time, as there are more members, has begun to boost their earnings.
