While I know media snobs (and even writers such as myself) love to hate on Medium at times, Medium was successful in allowing anyone the ability to create, publish (and later) monetize their blog for free and with no technical skills.

This is a tremendous accomplishment and it has demonstrably improved the lives of many!

Medium played an instrumental role in the emerging creator economy, and will always be noted as such on Blogging Guide!
