No it’s pretty formulaic if you follow the basic guidelines — but being curated does not necessarily translate into lots of views or claps.

My biggest articles, in terms of views were never curated and among my curated articles many did not earn a lot.

Obviously if you’re trying to grow a following this may be more important because of the wider exposure curation brings, but it’s just one way to get your content featured.
