Thank you Casey! I appreciate the breakdown. As a writer in purgatory, I hope Medium will spell this out soon. A simple statement would suffice. Some clarity would go a long way for those of us feeling we’re on the outside, looking in.

Completely agree Travis! I’ve been trying to discuss this issue with Medium, and they do seem to be aware of it, but I’m not sure when it will be improved.
